How the Confetti Bracelet was Born
As I create, I place any imperfect stones in the center of my bead tray. Over time, this collection grows until the tray is full and it’s time to clear it out. One day, as I was about to empty the tray, I noticed how stunning the mix of discarded stones looked together. It was like a burst of creativity waiting to happen! I started to mix a batch of random gemstones from bead boxes and string them together with silver or gold filled spacers. While showing the samples to my husband and bouncing around name ideas, nothing seemed quite right. Then, he said they looked like "confetti," and instantly, it clicked—that was the perfect name! Although I usually name my collections, this time, the credit goes to my husband for capturing the essence of this joyful, colorful series.
