Every trip to Michael's with my mom was like a treasure hunt, picking out beads and dreaming up my next bracelets. Back home, armed with a rainbow of beads and stretch cord, I'd spend hours in our basement playroom, crafting bracelets. I was in my creative element, stringing together beaded bracelets to gift to family and friends, or adding yet another to my own growing stack. I loved the joy of creating a special gift for someone I loved and spreading smiles and good vibes to them along the way.
Classroom to Craft- My Jewelry Journey
Jewelry has always held a special place in my heart and life, intertwining with my personal and professional journeys. Although my degrees are in education, as I have spent over a decade as a teacher, jewelry has always been a part of me. I love how jewelry is a form of expression and connection, a constant thread linking memories and milestones.
During high school, I landed a part-time job at a local jewelry store in Berwick, PA (shoutout to Nespoli Jewelers) —a role that extended well into my adulthood. This experience was more than just a job; it was a classroom where my love and knowledge of jewelry and gems deepened significantly. I’m super thankful for that time—it wasn’t just a job, it was where I got to dive deep into the world of jewelry and gems, growing my passion and knack for this amazing craft. I am immensely grateful for the time I spent there, surrounded by the sparkle of precious stones and the art of fine jewelry making. It nurtured my passion and belief in the transformative power and impact of jewelry, further fueling my obsession and appreciation.

Fast forward to the summer of 2021, Featherly was born! The little girl inside my heart is insanely proud of the thriving business I created today. Featherly isn't just about jewelry; it's a continuation of my childhood mission to spread good vibes and positive energy. Featherly Vibes- my very own slice of happiness where I get to spread joy and good vibes with every piece of jewelry I create. Sure, the beads are fancier now, and the designs are a tad more sophisticated, but the heart of it all? It’s just the same.
As we celebrate Featherly's third anniversary, I'm thrilled to reflect on how this small beaded bracelet business blossomed into a growing jewelry brand. My early days were marked by making 6mm and 8mm gemstone stacker bracelets, which became a staple for our customers. During the 2023 holiday season, I introduced our first meaningful necklace—a design inspired by one I often wore myself. Now, as 2024 continues to unfold, our sterling silver necklaces have expanded to include a whole collection featuring meaningful designs with adjustable chains, alongside continued growth in our bracelet collections.
