Hi, I’m Katrina, founder and designer of Featherly—a jewelry brand created to empower women with stylish, meaningful pieces vibe with every chapter of life. I know how hard it is to find high-quality, affordable jewelry that feels personal, lasts, and makes the perfect gift. That’s why I design versatile, quality pieces that bring effortless style to your everyday—because jewelry should be more than an accessory, it should be a reflection of you.

 In 2021, the world felt uncertain. As a full-time teacher navigating a new world, I needed something that felt like mine—something to ground me when everything else felt chaotic.

That’s when I started making beaded bracelets. Not just as a creative outlet, but with a purpose to spread positivity and good vibes, while also reconnecting with a part of me I had lost. Beading had been a childhood hobby, something that sparked my creativity and joy of gifting. When life felt heavy, creating these pieces brought me back to that lighthearted, joyful feeling.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but I wasn’t just making beaded bracelets, I was creating something meaningful. During the day, I was teaching ELA. At night, I was making bracelets across the dining room table (my husband loves me forreal), sitting on my floor packing orders and connecting with customers one by one online and at weekend events. I was building something, even if I didn’t fully understand what it was yet.

Then, life shifted. In the middle of it all, I got married, became a mom, TWICE, (boy mama here) and suddenly, everything moved fast. Motherhood was beautiful, but it was also overwhelming. Between teaching, parenting, and growing my business, I felt stretched thin. I felt like I was losing myself in the chaos. Until I realized something…

Featherly wasn’t just something I had created. It was something that had saved me. It was never just about jewelry...it was about energy, stories, and connection. And as I started sharing more of my own journey, something incredible happened. Women connected with it. They saw themselves in my story. They started sharing their own experiences, their own struggles, their own moments of strength.

That’s when I knew Featherly had to evolve.

I started designing pieces that carried messages of healing, strength, and confidence—because sometimes we just need a little reminder of who we are. The first big brand shift came with the Shine On Necklace, which is still our number one best-seller. It was inspired by a similar necklace I wore all the time that always seemed to spark compliments. When I launched my first necklace, Shine On towards the end of 2023, I knew it had to be more than just a pretty piece. I wrote a message about embracing your spirit and wearing it as a reminder that you are meant to shine.

And something amazing happened. I SOLD OUT!

Women saw themselves in this piece. They wore it to remind themselves of their worth. They gifted it to their sisters, their best friends, their mothers. It became a best-seller, not just because it was stylish, durable, and high-quality but because it meant something. It told their story. Women loved the quality, the adjustable length, how it could be dressed up or down, and it held a deeper message relatable to all of us. 

And from there, Featherly changed. I wasn’t just making bracelets anymore. I was on a mission to create meaningful jewelry that told a story. Jewelry that symbolized milestones, memories, and moments of resilience. Jewelry for busy, stylish women who want something high-quality, affordable, and durable—something they can wear effortlessly from everyday life to date night.

Because as women, we deserve to feel stylish. We deserve to celebrate ourselves. We deserve pieces that mean something.
